Woodhey High School was built by Bury Education Authority back in 1979, as a replacement for the aging Ramsbottom County Secondary School.

FB at desk FB Woodhey High School celebrated 20 years of education under one headteacher, Frank Bennett, when he retired in July 99.


The Frank Bennett Hall is a fine addition to the school, opened January 2001
