PERSONAL, SOCIAL, HEALTH AND CITIZENSHIP EDUCATION
What will the subject cover?
In Years 10 and 11, two periods a fortnight will be allocated to PSHCE. The areas covered are designed to give pupils the knowledge, skills and understanding they need to lead confident, healthy, independent lives and to become informed, active, responsible citizens.
Elements of the modular course will include:-
Careers Education
Health Education (to include alcohol and drugs education)
Sex Education
Religious Education
Citizenship Education (to include social and moral responsibility, community
involvement and political literacy)
