Year 10 Geography Field Trip To Cleveleys
We had the pleasure of taking 120 Year 10 geographers to the seaside town of Cleveleys last week. As you can see from the pictures, we had excellent weather. Students were carrying out fieldwork to see how effective coastal management is along the Fylde coast. Behaviour was excellent and students enjoyed an ice cream on the promenade before setting off back to school.
It was nice to finish my last ever fieldtrip at Woodhey with lovely weather and a fantastic day out. Over the past decade I have been responsible for taking around 5000 Woodhey students out on field trips. These include trips to the River Irwell, Malham, Grasmere, Cleveleys, Salford Quays and Iceland. We have had heatwaves, floods, broken down coaches and even seagull attacks but I have really fond memories of all the Geography field trips at Woodhey.
