On Thursday 6th July, Year 11 and lots of staff put their glad rags on to celebrate a fantastic five years at Woodhey High School.
Prom, hosted by the Bolholt Hotel, was a great event, with a spectacular array of arrivals, with students being chauffeured in limousines, motorbikes, Rolls Royces, trucks and even mobility scooters, before posing for photos with lifelong friends on the red carpet.
The night was filled with dancing and karaoke, some fantastic and some, somewhat questionable, but that was more the staff than the students. Joe said: ‘It was great to be able to see all of my friends and all of the staff to celebrate our time at Woodhey before we all go off to do different things next year. It is a night I will remember for a long time.’
In all, it was a great send off for a great group of students, and it is a privilege to remind Year 11 that wherever your journey takes you, you will always be a part of #TeamWoodhey.
