We are delighted to share that we have been awarded the prestigious Music Mark award as recognition of our excellent music provision.
The award, handed to schools who offer high quality music provision, means we are, at the time of writing, only the second secondary school in Bury to hold the accolade.
We are proud that the work of our music team to: develop an engaging and broad curriculum, for example, inspiring students to learn about samba, the Blues and teaches students how to perform in a gig; our extensive extracurricular club, from karaoke to ukuleles; and our close ties to Bury Music Service to provide additional music lessons has been recognised.
It is testament to the hard work and commitment of our staff in making #TeamWoodhey an excellent place to come to school. Well done to everyone involved!
